I don’t remember how or what prompted this tête-à-tête but it forever changed the way I understand spirituality. I remember the blank look on his face as he muttered, “It’s for adults only.” My head tilts in confusion like a lost puppy as he proceeds, “your grandma is telling me, kids shouldn’t be concerning themselves with adult business.” This coming from a person I hardly knew, mind blown.
