Gio & Jones

Psychic Chris Medina dropped by CBS Sports Radio on Tuesday to discuss what he calls his “second sight.” Medina, who has worked with countless celebrities, is currently on a cross-country tour and seeking to help people discover their true self.

Medina discovered early in life that he had this special skill.

“Since I was born pretty much, as far back as I can remember,” Medina said on Gio and Jones. “My dad would have me do readings on his friends at the age of 4. My dad’s a biker. Bikers get around, they do what they do, smoke a little this, drink a little that, put the kid on and give readings.”

As a child, Medina could sense specific information about people – to the point where he did not know why others couldn’t see things as he did. As he got older, Medina had the ability to see, hear, smell and feel energies. He now hosts public and private events and gives individual readings.

Not everything that he senses or uncovers, of course, is pleasant.

Medina was asked if being able to sense so much about people is a curse.

“I wouldn’t go so far as to say it’s a curse,” Medina said. “What’s troublesome is my personal life, family-type situations. I got two kids. I have a 17-year-old and a 16-year-old. Knowing certain things that are going on, feeling that type of stuff, relationships suffer a lot. Public-wise, it’s easy to put that on the (back burner). Personal life, not so much.”

When performing readings, Medina insists on not obtaining any information about a person beforehand. That allows him to better connect with a person’s energy.
